Roman Reigns addressed his past character during a recent IGN interview where he rated memes of himself. In the video, Reigns made definitive comments about his former “Big Dog” persona.
There is no big dog. He’s dead now. I don’t even see the other guy. He doesn’t even exist. It doesn’t- didn’t happen.
The “Big Dog” character defined Reigns’ early singles career after The Shield’s breakup. During this period, he captured multiple championships but failed to connect with audiences in the way his current Tribal Chief persona has.
Reigns appears on the cover of WWE 2K25, which releases on March 14th. Players who purchase the Deadman edition of the game will receive early access starting March 7th.
