WWE Elimination Chamber will take place on March 1, marking the final premium live event before WrestleMania 41. During an episode of the Notsam Wrestling podcast, wrestling analyst Sam Roberts discussed the potential return of Roman Reigns at the upcoming event.
Reigns has been absent from WWE programming since the Royal Rumble, where Seth Rollins targeted him following their eliminations from the 30-man Royal Rumble Match. Rollins delivered two Stomps to Reigns, leading to WWE announcing an undisclosed injury to the six-time world champion on the following episode of Raw.
Behind the scenes, this injury angle serves to build anticipation for a rumored Triple Threat Match involving Reigns, Rollins, and CM Punk at WrestleMania.
Speaking on his podcast, Roberts shared his thoughts on Reigns’ potential involvement at Elimination Chamber.
Roman’s not going to be in the Chamber, but in my opinion, I mean, I guess he could be, but he’s not in any of the qualifying matches so I don’t see it happening. I could see Roman interfering in the Chamber match and costing Seth.
