Sami Zayn kicked off WWE RAW from the Spectrum Center in Charlotte, North Carolina with an intense address to the crowd. Speaking about his tumultuous history with Kevin Owens, Zayn focused on their latest confrontation where Owens attempted a package piledriver.
The Charlotte crowd rallied behind Zayn as he declared his intentions for Elimination Chamber in Toronto. His determination to face Owens prompted WWE RAW General Manager Adam Pearce to address the situation directly.

As the fans voiced their support, Pearce explained he couldn’t officially sanction a match between the two competitors. This restriction, however, opened the door for an unsanctioned encounter where both wrestlers could unleash without limitations.
Zayn emphasized he would not leave the ring without securing the match, accepting all risks involved. After acknowledging that neither competitor could be stopped from inflicting damage on the other, Pearce confirmed the unsanctioned match for Elimination Chamber.
