Saraya Reveals When She Will Retire from Pro-Wrestling

Having been a part of the wrestling industry since the age of 13, Saraya has outlined a potential long-term plan for the remainder of her in-ring career. In a recent interview, the veteran performer indicated she has a clear vision for her eventual retirement.

“I don’t wanna be 53 in the ring, I wanna go to bed. But I wanna say I think I can squeeze ten more years out of me. Yeah, 10 more years on and off. Why not. I have control of my life too, so if I wanna take some time off, I can take time off.”

The “on and off” nature of her plan aligns with her current career status. After an amicable and mutual departure from AEW in March 2025, Saraya announced she would take a hiatus from wrestling for the rest of the year. She is currently focused on personal ventures, including her podcast and autobiography, emphasizing a desire for personal growth outside the ring.

Despite her planned hiatus, Saraya recently fueled speculation about an imminent WWE appearance. Ahead of the company’s Evolution 2 event on July 13, she made a cryptic social media post questioning if the all-women’s show was happening this weekend.

However, the wrestler has since clarified her situation. While she is officially a free agent, Saraya has stated publicly that she has not been in contact with WWE about a return. She has stressed that her priority in 2025 remains on her well-being and projects outside of wrestling.
