Scarlett Bordeaux is officially bringing back The Smokeshow. She revealed on Twitter that she is going blonde again, sharing a selfie with a noticeably lighter hairstyle.
The change marks a departure from the darker persona she adopted in WWE alongside her husband, Karrion Kross. The couple became free agents after their contracts expired on August 10, 2025, ending a run that built them a strong fan following.
Their exit followed failed contract negotiations, which Kross described as not being a “real conversation,” leaving him “deeply disappointed.” He had also voiced frustration with his creative direction, revealing he was told not to acknowledge “We want Kross” chants from fans.
While some fans and even WWE colleagues believed the exit was a work, Kross insisted it was legitimate. He stated that faking a departure would be in “poor taste” and could damage his credibility.
Now free agents, the duo is already active on the independent circuit. Kross made his first post-WWE appearance on September 21 at a WrestlePro event, with Scarlett by his side.
Despite the rocky end, Scarlett described her time in WWE as an “incredible journey.” Kross has also expressed interest in returning one day if the circumstances are right.
