The confrontation escalated the angle between the two champions as they head toward their match for the Men’s Crown Jewel Championship at the upcoming Crown Jewel premium live event.
The issue of leadership within The Vision faction became the segment’s focal point. Rhodes questioned whether Rollins was truly in charge, suggesting Heyman was the one who sent Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed to attack him on SmackDown. Rollins flatly denied this, asserting that he personally dispatched the two heavyweights.
This claim of absolute authority prompted Rhodes to challenge Rollins further, asking if that meant he also approved Heyman’s one-off appearance to introduce Brock Lesnar at WWE Wrestlepalooza on September 20. In response, Rollins paused before emphatically stating, “…EVERY decision runs through me…”
