Roman Reigns made a surprise appearance on WWE RAW at Madison Square Garden this week, attacking Seth Rollins with a spear and a stomp outside the ring. This attack served as retaliation for Rollins’ actions against Reigns during their elimination from the Men’s Royal Rumble match last month.
With The Original Tribal Chief back in action, speculation has emerged that Rollins might bring in the 416-pound Nigerian Giant Omos as his bodyguard ahead of WrestleMania 41. Omos has been absent from WWE television since April last year but has indicated during his appearances in NOAH that he would return to WWE soon.
Following his attack on Rollins, Reigns also targeted CM Punk, who was being checked on by Paul Heyman. Reigns appeared somewhat surprised to see Heyman alongside Punk during this confrontation.
The events on RAW have fueled rumors about a potential triple threat match between Reigns, Rollins, and Punk at WrestleMania 41. This matchup has been speculated about for weeks, and WWE appears to be establishing the groundwork for this direction.
Rollins has ongoing conflicts with both Reigns and Punk, while Reigns and Punk previously joined forces as a team at Survivor Series. Though their alliance may be temporary, they could potentially work together to eliminate Rollins before resuming their own rivalry. This scenario might prompt Rollins to recruit Omos as protection, potentially marking his first heel turn in several years as WrestleMania approaches.
