Seth Rollins has shared critical remarks about Travis Scott’s involvement in a segment at WWE Elimination Chamber 2025 in Toronto.
The incident occurred when Scott participated in an angle where The Rock and John Cena attacked Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes.
Scott’s actions during the segment went beyond what was apparently planned, as Rollins explained in a recent interview on WFNA.
Rollins expressed concern about Scott’s presence in the ring, pointing to the size disparity between the artist and trained wrestlers.
I have mercy on Travis Scott. That is not a man that needs to be in a wrestling ring with these giant humans. No offense to him, but he’s a cruiserweight, brother. He can wrestle Rey Mysterio, maybe. He doesn’t know what he’s doing in there. He just whacked him in the side of the head, gave him a big ol bruise, busted him open, just awful. If Cody gets his hands on him, it’s done and dusted.
Rollins continued his assessment of the situation by describing the physical difference between Scott and Rhodes despite Rhodes not being among the largest WWE competitors.
Cody isn’t like Braun Strowman or Andre The Giant, he’s not a massive guy, but he dwarfs Travis Scott. If he can get through Travis’ team of people, it’s game over for him. Cody is a very nice guy, I won’t speak on his behalf, but he has an undercurrent of frustration in there, especially when he gets taken advantage of in a situation like that, absolutely.
The segment featuring Scott, The Rock, and John Cena attacking Rhodes was planned as part of ongoing storylines leading into WrestleMania.
Scott’s unexpected strikes to Rhodes resulted in visible injuries including a bruise and a cut, according to Rollins’ account of the incident.
The altercation took place during the premium live event held in Toronto earlier this month as part of the ongoing championship storylines.
WWE has not issued an official statement regarding Scott’s actions during the segment or any potential repercussions.
