Sheamus Involved in Fan Incident Before WWE Clash in Paris

Sheamus is the latest WWE star to be mobbed by fans in Paris ahead of tonight’s Clash in Paris.

In video footage circulating on social media, Sheamus can be seen surrounded by a large crowd inside a mall. The situation escalated to the point where the Celtic Warrior had to intervene, telling fans to “Calm down!” after another woman was nearly crushed in the crowd and began screaming. Even after he stepped in, fans continued to follow and record him without giving him space.

This marks the third reported incident of a top WWE star being swarmed by fans in Paris in the lead-up to the premium live event.

Earlier today, Rhea Ripley publicly criticized fans for behaving like “a pack of rabid zombies” after she was mobbed and pushed against her Uber. A day prior, on August 30, CM Punk posted a similar message on his Instagram, telling people to “Stop touching strangers,” following an alleged incident where a fan grabbed him.

All three wrestlers are in the city for Clash in Paris, which takes place tonight at the Paris La Défense Arena.
