Shinsuke Nakamura announced his participation in the 2025 Men’s Royal Rumble match during the January 24th episode of WWE SmackDown. The United States Champion joins a growing list of competitors for the February 1st event at Lucas Oil Stadium.
The announcement chronology began at the WWE Raw on Netflix Premiere on January 6th, when John Cena declared his entry. CM Punk followed with his announcement during the post-show. Paul Heyman subsequently declared Roman Reigns for the match on the January 10th SmackDown.
The January 13th episode of Raw saw Seth Rollins and Drew McIntyre entering the match, alongside LA Knight and Jey Uso. Rey Mysterio added his name to the list on the January 17th SmackDown, followed by Sami Zayn’s declaration on the January 20th Raw.
The current list of participants includes John Cena, CM Punk, Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins, Drew McIntyre, LA Knight, Jey Uso, Rey Mysterio, Sami Zayn, and Shinsuke Nakamura.
