WWE Women’s World Champion Stephanie Vaquer is commemorating her recent title victory with some new ink. The champion shared a video on her Instagram story showing her getting a new tattoo following her win at Wrestlepalooza.
Vaquer’s rapid ascent on the main roster, which began with her call-up in May, culminated in her capturing the vacant Women’s World Championship by defeating IYO SKY. This win marked a significant milestone in a career that has seen her hold the NXT Women’s North American and NXT Women’s Championships since debuting at Halloween Havoc last October.
Her next major challenge is already set. Vaquer is scheduled to face WWE Women’s Champion Tiffany Stratton in a non-title, champion vs. champion match at the upcoming Crown Jewel premium live event in Perth. The winner of the bout will be crowned the new Crown Jewel Women’s Champion.
The match is part of the Crown Jewel event scheduled for October 11 in Perth, Australia. According to early betting odds, Vaquer is considered the favorite to win the contest. A new Crown Jewel Women’s Champion is guaranteed, as neither competitor has previously held the title. Stratton, meanwhile, is in the midst of a 270-day reign as WWE Women’s Champion, a title she recently retained against Nia Jax and Jade Cargill on SmackDown.
