Raw superstar Asuka has delivered a direct warning to WWE Women’s World Champion Stephanie Vaquer, using her personal YouTube channel to intensify their growing feud. The challenge stems from Vaquer’s recent attack on Asuka’s tag partner, Kairi Sane.
In the video, Asuka addressed the champion without hesitation. She dismissed any admiration Vaquer may hold for her and promised payback for Sane’s assault. Notably, Vaquer has publicly admitted she named her cat after Asuka.
“Stephanie, I never forget. You beat down my Kairi last week, you think I’ll forgive that? No way! H–l no, you fool! Kairi was brave, she fought back, but you better remember what you did, because I will not forget,” Asuka declared.
“I heard you look up to me, Stephanie. You admire me, don’t you? Of course you do, Asuka is legendary. Here’s the truth, admiration becomes a wall, a wall you will never climb. You’ll never surpass me, never, ever. You. Are. An. I—t!” (h/t Wrestletalk)
This threat arrives shortly after Vaquer captured the vacant WWE Women’s World Championship. She defeated IYO SKY on September 20 at Wrestlepalooza in Indianapolis, becoming the first South American superstar to claim a world title in WWE. The belt had been vacated by Naomi due to maternity leave.
The warning also comes as Vaquer prepares for a champion-versus-champion bout. She is scheduled to meet WWE Women’s Champion Tiffany Stratton at Crown Jewel on October 11. The September 26 episode of SmackDown ended with a staredown between Vaquer and Stratton, confirming that clash as a central storyline.
Tensions between Asuka and Vaquer had already been visible. On the September 22 edition of Raw, they confronted each other directly. That segment closed with Asuka and Kairi Sane launching an attack on both Rhea Ripley and IYO SKY, underscoring their aggressive push on the brand.
