Sting Announces 2025 Will Be Final Year in Wrestling Gear
AEW’s Sting reveals on social media that 2025 will mark his last year appearing in traditional face paint and wrestling attire at fan events.

Sting has announced his plans regarding future appearances in his iconic wrestling attire. Through a social media post, he shared his decision about continuing to meet fans in his traditional look.
I have enjoyed meeting fans at events around the world.
As much as I have loved interacting with you all in the traditional Stinger war paint, I’ve decided that 2025 will be my last year appearing in full gear.
I guess it’s 2025 or never. Wow. Tough to speak that out.
Sting holds a legends contract with AEW, which allows him to make appearances and sell merchandise. He is scheduled to appear at Indianapolis WrestleCon on January 24.
