With All Elite Wrestling’s biggest event of the year, All In: Texas, just over a week away, internal discussions have reportedly taken place regarding an appearance by Sting. According to a report from Fightful Select, the wrestling legend has been considered for a cameo or some form of on-screen role during the show in Arlington.
The logic behind the potential appearance is supported by several factors. Sting is a Texas resident and is already scheduled to be in the Arlington area that same weekend for the Starrcast wrestling convention. His proximity to the venue, Globe Life Field, aligns with a statement he made during the All In ticket on-sale event last December, where he told attendees he expected to appear at the show.
The belief is that if an appearance materializes, it would likely see Sting alongside his protégé, Darby Allin, assuming Allin is scheduled for a role on the card.
While Sting officially retired from in-ring competition following his final match at AEW Revolution in March, he remains under a licensing contract with the company. The combination of his location, prior comments, and contractual status makes a non-wrestling appearance a distinct possibility for the July 12th event.
