"Strange" - The Undertaker criticized by ex-WWE after appearance at RAW Netflix premiere
Eric Bischoff critiques The Undertaker’s motorcycle entrance on Netflix RAW debut, suggesting traditional entrance would resonate better.
Eric Bischoff expressed criticism over The Undertaker’s motorcycle entrance during WWE RAW’s Netflix debut. The WWE Hall of Famer shared his thoughts during a recent episode of his 83 Weeks podcast.
The appearance took place as part of the historical evening at the Intuit Dome, where The Undertaker joined Rhea Ripley’s WWE Women’s Championship celebration. Several other legends, including The Rock, John Cena, and Hulk Hogan, also appeared on the show.
Questioning The Deadman’s Entrance Style
Bischoff detailed his concerns about the motorcycle entrance:
I didn’t like it. I don’t think it gave the audience the opportunity to react to Undertaker the way they actually wanted to react to him. It was cool to see him, I’m sure for the audience, and they probably haven’t seen him come out on the motorcycle for a while
The former SmackDown Executive Director further explained his perspective:
So that’s cool and he got a great reaction, but not the same kind of reaction he would have received had he walked into that ring, whether he was in his Undertaker gear or not. I think first of all, riding a motorcycle around a ring is f*****g awkward, it’s really awkward to maneuver that thing around the ring, even for a big guy like Taker, it’s awkward and it doesn’t look that cool
Reports later addressed speculation about The Undertaker’s appearance affecting other planned returns. Fightful Select clarified that Becky Lynch’s absence from the show was unrelated to The Deadman’s appearance, as she was not in Los Angeles and her return plans were still being developed.
