“Stuart has been released from the hospital and is now home resting. He sustained a serious head injury and was unconscious upon arrival at the ER. His injuries include trauma to both the upper and lower jaws, a laceration to his upper lip, and a fracture to the maxilla bone, which unfortunately resulted in the loss of several teeth.
He has a long road of recovery ahead, but he remains in good spirits despite everything he has been through.

From the bottom of my heart, thank you.
With love and respect,
Contessa Patterson & Stuart Smith (aka SykoStu)”
The attack occurred on Saturday, August 23, during an event in Sun Valley, California. The incident began after Smith, apparently in character, hit Jackson with a can outside the venue. This led to Jackson, the son of former UFC champion Quinton “Rampage” Jackson, getting in the ring during Smith’s match and attacking him. Video of the assault showed Jackson delivering numerous punches to Smith after a body slam.
Following the incident, both KnokX Pro Wrestling and Quinton “Rampage” Jackson issued statements confirming the attack was part of a planned spot that went too far. KnokX Pro called Raja Jackson’s actions “reprehensible,” while his father noted that Raja had suffered a concussion just days prior and “had no business doing anything remotely close to physical contact.”
The Los Angeles Police Department is reportedly investigating the incident. In the days since the attack, Raja Jackson has also been banned from the streaming platform Kick and a subsequent Danger Pro Wrestling event.
