The Boogeyman Reportedly Nears Return to WWE

WWE Legend The Boogeyman has made a direct and public appeal to Triple H, expressing his desire for one last run with the company. The 60-year-old performer took to social media to post a video of himself performing explosive workouts, using the platform to send a clear message to WWE’s Chief Content Officer.

“Put me in the game Triple H..#.WWELEGEND BOOGEYMAN.”

This direct request is the latest in a series of hints about a potential in-ring return. Back in February 2025, the former superstar teased the possibility on social media with a simple message: “One more run.” This recent, more pointed appeal to management suggests his ambition for a final chapter in the ring is serious.

The Boogeyman remains connected to the company under a WWE Legends contract, making sporadic appearances. He was part of the WrestleMania 41 festivities in April and, just last week, shared an emotional message of gratitude after the launch of new ringside collectibles, thanking the fans and WWE for immortalizing his character.

While celebrated for his past, his focus appears to be on the future. The horror-themed character, known for his worm-eating antics, last competed in a match during a Reality of Wrestling event in March 2024. His original full-time tenure with WWE ran from 2005 to 2009, where he became a memorable figure of the era. It remains to be seen if his public plea will result in the in-ring return he is campaigning for.
