The Rock Drops Major SmackDown Tease in Big Message

The Rock addressed his imminent SmackDown return through an Instagram post focusing on the Rolex watch gifted by Cody Rhodes before WrestleMania XL. The Final Boss will appear on SmackDown in New Orleans, marking his first appearance since defeating Cody and Seth Rollins alongside Roman Reigns at WrestleMania XL Night One.

Prior to his return, The Rock shared an Instagram post featuring the timepiece given to him by Rhodes.

NEW ORLEANS, The Final Boss has arrived. [airplane emoji] This exact Rolex was the gift from our @WWE Champion @americannightmarecody to me, about 5 hours before our Wrestlemania match at WM40. Its time. #SmackDown #live #tonight @usanetwork 8ET/7CT

The post references the pre-WrestleMania XL gesture where Rhodes presented Rolex watches to The Rock, Roman Reigns, and Seth Rollins. The Final Boss’ previous appearance saw him presenting the Ula Fala to Roman Reigns during the RAW Netflix premiere, following Reigns’ victory over Solo Sikoa in Tribal Combat.

The Rock’s initial return occurred at Bad Blood in October, where he appeared after Cody Rhodes and Roman Reigns united to defeat Solo Sikoa and Jacob Fatu. Based on current developments, Rhodes and John Cena could collide at WrestleMania, while Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins, and CM Punk might meet in a Triple Threat match.
