The Undertaker recently reflected on his legendary career during an appearance on Busted Open Radio, addressing the discussion surrounding the conclusion of his WrestleMania streak. The WWE Hall of Famer shared his thoughts on potential alternatives for ending the historic run.
During the conversation with Bully Ray, The Undertaker discussed how ending his streak could have benefitted other superstars. He acknowledged the potential impact it might have had on both Bray Wyatt and Roman Reigns’ careers, while explaining why Brock Lesnar was ultimately the right choice.
Brock was an attraction all to himself by this time. Would it have helped Bray? Obviously it would have helped Bray. Would it have skyrocketed Roman? Probably. But again, it wasn’t my call.
The WrestleMania streak came to an end at WrestleMania XXX against Brock Lesnar. The following year, The Undertaker returned to face Bray Wyatt at the event in his first match since the streak ended.
