The Vision Could Gain Surprising New Member at Wrestlepalooza

Reports have emerged that Bronson Reed may be looking to strengthen The Vision by bringing in his former stablemate, the veteran wrestler Slex. This speculation comes as the faction finds itself in a precarious position, with key members either on the shelf or entangled in separate feuds.

The group’s challenges are mounting. Paul Heyman is currently out with an injury, while Seth Rollins and Becky Lynch are preoccupied with their respective rivalries against CM Punk and AJ Lee. This leaves Reed and Bron Breakker to focus on their own massive clash against The Usos at the upcoming Wrestlepalooza premium live event, a match born from their attack on Roman Reigns at Clash in Paris.

The connection to Slex is well-established, as the two previously teamed in The Mighty Don’t Kneel (TMDK) across several major promotions. Slex even played a key role in Reed’s physical recovery after his injury and continues to train with him. While sources indicate the chances of Slex joining are currently slim, the logic behind the recruitment is clear.

With The Vision’s ranks thinned, bringing in a trusted ally like Slex could provide Reed with crucial backup. This situation adds another layer of intrigue to The Vision’s future as Reed and Breakker head into their high-profile tag team showdown with The Usos at Wrestlepalooza.

Reed’s Evolution into The Vision’s Enforcer

Reed’s potential move to take a leadership role stems from a journey that reshaped his entire career. After being released by WWE in 2021, he returned in December 2022 with a completely different mindset. “I think for me, a big change is when I got released from WWE and I came back, I sort of came back with a little bit of a chip on my shoulder, knowing that I need to be as confident as possible and show them I can do this,” Reed stated in an interview with Rolling Stone Australia.

This newfound confidence defines his role as the faction’s enforcer. He actively embraces the crowd’s hostility to ensure the group gets the proper heel reaction. “Seth Rollins is a heel, but he gets everyone sings his song. Bron is a heel, but everyone likes to bark for him. So I’m sort of that third guy that makes sure that the people are booing!” Reed explained. This mentality was solidified after Triple H promised him a major spot upon his return from a serious ankle injury suffered at Survivor Series 2024.
