WWE Women’s Champion Tiffany Stratton has set a new benchmark for her title reign, declaring her goal is to become the longest-reigning champion in the title’s history. The statement was made during a recent appearance on the No-Contest Wrestling podcast.
To achieve this, Stratton will need to surpass the current record of 419 days held by Bianca Belair.
Before she can focus on that long-term objective, however, Stratton faces an immediate challenge in a scheduled title defense against Jade Cargill. The match, a rematch from their encounter at SummerSlam 2025, will take place on the September 12 edition of SmackDown from the Scope Arena in Norfolk, Virginia.
Their previous match ended after Stratton used the ropes for leverage during a pinfall attempt, a fact Cargill has pointed to as the only reason for her loss.
Speaking on her ambitions, Stratton laid out her new goal directly.
“I’m just trying to take every day and be in the moment and not think too much about the future,” Stratton said. “I’m somebody who overthinks everything and thinks of the worst scenarios possible. So I’m just trying to focus on being in the moment and enjoying my title reign and hopefully holding it for the next year or so we’ll see. Maybe I’ll be the longest WWE Women’s Champion ever. So I’d like to make that a goal of mine. Actually, I’m declaring it right now. I want to be the longest WWE Women’s Champion ever.”
