WWE Women’s Champion Tiffany Stratton has publicly challenged Hall of Famer Nikki Bella to a match at WrestleMania 42. The proposed “generation vs. generation” clash would take place at the 2026 event in Las Vegas. Stratton issued the challenge during a recent interview while discussing potential dream opponents.
Speaking on the matchup, Stratton expressed strong interest in facing the former two-time Divas Champion on WWE’s biggest stage.
“I would absolutely love that. I think that would be iconic. It’d be like a generation vs. generation match. So yeah, let’s manifest that. Nikki Bella, if you’re listening, me vs. you at WrestleMania 42.”
The challenge comes as Bella continues her full-time return to WWE. After an appearance in the Royal Rumble, her comeback began in the summer of 2025, and she has since been officially added to the active Raw roster.
Bella has stated her motivation is to prove she can compete with the current generation of talent. Her run has included a loss to Becky Lynch for the Women’s Intercontinental Championship at Clash in Paris and a submission defeat to Asuka on Raw.
A WrestleMania 42 bout would mark Bella’s first appearance at the event in nine years. Her last match on the stage was at WrestleMania 33 in 2017, when she and John Cena defeated The Miz and Maryse in a mixed tag team contest.
