Tiffany Stratton Finally Breaks Silence On Alleged WWE SmackDown Injury

WWE Women’s Champion Tiffany Stratton has addressed recent concerns about her health. After a rough landing during a title defense twelve days ago led to scheduling changes, Stratton has confirmed she is cleared ahead of a major match.

In an interview with Going Ringside, she explained that medical evaluations following the incident were precautionary. “Physically, I’m okay. Obviously, it was a little bit of a rough landing, however, I was fine. I think it was just more, like, precautionary and kind of just monitoring and seeing if anything was bad about the fall. But for the most part I’m doing good, I’m great.”

The fall occurred on the September 12 edition of SmackDown, when Stratton overshot a top-rope moonsault and crashed to the floor during her match against Jade Cargill.

In the aftermath, WWE pulled her from the NXT Homecoming event and rescheduled a planned three-way title match, moving it off the September 20 Wrestlepalooza card.

With Stratton now cleared, the championship bout is back on. She will defend against Jade Cargill and Nia Jax this Friday on the September 26 episode of SmackDown. The stakes are high: the winner will go on to challenge Stephanie Vaquer for the Women’s Crown Jewel Championship at WWE Crown Jewel.
