Following a chaotic title match on SmackDown involving Tiffany Stratton, Jade Cargill, and Nia Jax, speculation suggests a returning Bianca Belair could be a future challenger.

Tiffany Stratton May Have Another Major Problem On SmackDown

The WWE Women’s Championship picture was thrown into disarray on last Friday’s SmackDown. Tiffany Stratton’s title defense against Jade Cargill descended into chaos, ending in a double count-out that left the championship status unresolved. Before the situation could settle, Nia Jax stormed the ring and attacked both competitors, making a violent statement and staking her own claim to the gold.

The assault reignited a bitter rivalry for the 26-year-old champion, whose reign began over eight months ago when she cashed in her Money in the Bank contract on Jax herself.

With the division now caught in a three-way power struggle between Stratton, Cargill, and Jax, speculation has turned to who might step in to restore order. One scenario gaining traction is the possible return of former champion Bianca Belair to challenge Stratton for the title.

Belair, 36, has been sidelined since suffering a serious left-hand injury during her match at WrestleMania 41 earlier this spring. Though she made a guest appearance at the Evolution 2025 premium live event, she has remained inactive in the ring.

While there is still no official timetable for the EST’s return, the current turmoil in the women’s division could provide the perfect opening for her comeback.
