TNA Wrestling has officially re-signed husband and wife duo Eddie and Alisha Edwards, as first reported by PWInsider. The couple, both members of The System faction, have been mainstays in the promotion for many years.
Eddie Edwards arrived in TNA in January 2014 as part of The Wolves tag team. During his decade with the company, he has accumulated an impressive collection of championships, including two world title reigns and seven tag team championships.
The Boston native has also captured the X-Division Championship twice and holds the distinction of being the eighth TNA Triple Crown Champion. He received the Match of the Year Award in 2020 and has signed a multi-year extension with the promotion.
Alisha Edwards made a brief TNA debut in 2008 before becoming a regular presence in the Knockouts Division starting in 2017. She recently teamed with current Knockouts World Champion Masha Slamovich as “The Malisha,” capturing the Knockouts World Tag Team Championship for a 133-day reign.
The Edwards will appear at TNA’s upcoming El Paso events on March 14-15, including the Sacrifice special airing live on the TNA+ app. Eddie will team with Brian Myers, JDC, and The Colóns in a 10-man tag match against TNA World Champion Joe Hendry and partners.
Other talents scheduled for the El Paso shows include X-Division Champion Moose, Knockouts Champion Masha Slamovich, Jeff Hardy, Nic Nemeth, Mustafa Ali, and Tessa Blanchard.
