TNA vs. NXT Match Officially Announced for Unbreakable 2025 Countdown

A special cross-brand contest has been announced for the upcoming TNA Unbreakable 2025 pre-show. The April 17 Countdown broadcast will feature talent from both TNA and WWE’s NXT brand facing off in tag team action ahead of the main event.
The inter-promotional match will see Gigi Dolin and Tatum Paxley representing NXT square off against TNA’s Heather by Elegance and Maggie Lee. This rare collaboration between the two wrestling companies will kick off the evening’s programming at 9 PM Eastern when “Countdown to TNA Unbreakable 2025” airs across multiple platforms including AXS TV, Sportsnet 360, and the TNA+ streaming service.
The pre-show lineup features three additional matches beyond the cross-promotional contest. Dani Luna will face Jakara Jackson, Xia Brookside will lock up with Jazmyn Nyx, and Brian Myers will step into the ring against Leon Slater.
Fans tuning in to the Countdown broadcast will also witness a special appearance by Elijah. Additionally, Cody Deaner is scheduled to address his future with TNA during the program.
The “Countdown” serves as the appetizer before the main TNA Unbreakable 2025 event, which follows immediately afterward on the same Thursday night. This collaboration marks a notable moment between two major wrestling promotions as they join forces for this special presentation.
