Tony Khan Open to Adding a Third Weekly AEW Show

AEW President Tony Khan has confirmed he is open to the idea of adding a third weekly show to the company’s programming schedule in the future. This comes as Khan has labeled 2025 the company’s “best year ever,” fueled by significant growth for its primary shows.

Currently, AEW airs Dynamite on Wednesdays and Collision on Saturdays. The company previously discontinued other programs, including Rampage, Dark, and Dark: Elevation, to sharpen its focus on these two core broadcasts.

The discussion around expansion is supported by the company’s recent performance. Khan noted that since AEW began simulcasting its shows on the Max streaming service at the start of the year, viewership has increased. Through the second quarter of 2025, viewership for Dynamite is reportedly up 8%, with Collision seeing a 28% rise compared to the final quarter of 2024.

One potential route for expansion that was discussed involves rebranding the Ring of Honor weekly show into a core AEW program. Khan acknowledged that the idea of a show titled “AEW: Ring Of Honor” is something that “does make a lot of sense.”

Despite the successful year and the potential for growth, Khan maintained that the immediate priority remains on the current two-show model.

“There’s always potential to expand the AEW programming calendar right now,” Khan said in an interview with WFAA. “Things have worked really well with Dynamite and Collision, but as we’re having a great year, it’s always something to consider… But certainly in 2025, right now, we’re feeling great about Wednesday Night Dynamite and Saturday Night Collision as the primary TV shows today.”
