Top Star Announces TNA Departure; WWE and AEW Emerge as Possible Future Destinations

Hammerstone has officially confirmed his departure from TNA Wrestling. The powerhouse performer announced through social media that his contractual obligations with the company have concluded.

I wrestled my last match for TNA at the February tapings and am no longer under contract with the company. Grateful for the opportunities that came my way and excited for what’s next.

The former MLW World Champion included his business email in the post, signaling his immediate availability for bookings.

Hammerstone’s tenure with TNA proved brief following his signing in February 2024. His run was significantly impacted by injury setbacks that limited his in-ring appearances with the promotion.

A knee injury suffered at TNA Turning Point in November required surgical intervention in December. After completing rehabilitation, Hammerstone received medical clearance to return to competition by February.

His final appearance for TNA came during the February 21 IMPACT! television tapings, where he faced Joe Hendry in what would be his farewell match with the company.

The departure creates intriguing possibilities for Hammerstone’s future. His combination of size, power, and in-ring ability makes him a potential asset for multiple promotions across the wrestling landscape.

Hammerstone established his reputation during his previous run with Major League Wrestling, where he captured the MLW World Championship and built a significant following among wrestling fans.

TNA has not issued any official statement regarding Hammerstone’s departure from the company.
