Travis Scott Accused of Trying to Hurt Cody Rhodes at Elimination Chamber, Says Veteran

Stevie Richards spoke out against Travis Scott regarding an incident that occurred during WWE Elimination Chamber 2025. During the segment, Scott slapped Cody Rhodes with what Richards describes as a legitimate strike rather than a worked one.

The incident took place when The Rock, John Cena, and Travis Scott confronted Rhodes in the main event segment of the premium live event. What was planned as a scripted attack apparently went too far when Scott’s slap genuinely hurt Rhodes.

During an episode of The Stevie Richards Show, the wrestling veteran addressed the situation. Richards stated that Scott took advantage of Rhodes during their interaction.

This was Travis Scott trying to get his stuff in. He didn’t care about anything but telling people, ‘Oh look, I beat up Cody Rhodes.’ Nobody cares about you, Travis Scott. Nobody in England who listens to music cares about you. Maybe some people in the United States, but no wrestling fan gives a damn what Travis Scott has to do with the wrestling business. You did something arrogant and selfish, and you took advantage of Cody [Rhodes].
