Former WWE RAW General Manager Jonathan Coachman has claimed that Triple H and The Rock’s current working relationship hides their true feelings toward each other. The revelation came during a recent episode of the Behind The Turnbuckle: The Last Word podcast.
Coachman addressed a backstage video featuring Triple H, The Rock, and Travis Scott from Elimination Chamber, which WWE posted on social media. The video showed the two WWE icons interacting cordially.
Well, you all saw that behind-the-scenes video that they posted where they came back. And I love [it] when Triple H and The Rock are in the same space because I know, I’ve experienced how much they truly hate each other. And so, this whole notion that they’re getting along these days is BS.
The Game has overseen WWE’s creative direction for nearly three years as Chief Content Officer. The Final Boss returned to WWE last year, joining TKO’s Board of Directors while also turning heel and aligning with The Bloodline.
Despite reported legitimate tensions earlier in their careers, the two Attitude Era stars have publicly maintained a professional relationship. Both have consistently praised each other’s work in recent months.
The Rock’s current role as both an on-screen performer and TKO executive has placed him in direct professional contact with Triple H, who manages WWE’s creative operations.
Coachman’s comments suggest the cordial public relationship between the two WWE legends contrasts with their private sentiments toward one another.
