Triple H Could Seek Revenge Against CM Punk at Any Time in WWE
Stevie Richards suggests Triple H could be planning revenge against CM Punk despite their apparent reconciliation ahead of WrestleMania 41.

Wrestling veteran Stevie Richards has raised speculation about the true nature of the relationship between WWE’s Chief Content Officer Triple H and CM Punk. Despite their public reconciliation, Richards believes Triple H might be harboring lingering resentment toward the controversial superstar.
During an appearance on Vince Russo’s podcast The Brand, Richards outlined his theory about the situation.
He made a kind of master trick in the pro wrestling world, in several companies. The guy turned ECW into his own show, became WrestleMania main event, made millions… and yet still kept irritating a lot of people. But what makes money, ends up being forgiven — even by Triple H, who is known to be grudge-holding. So the question remains: did Phil really win over the guy, or is Paul Levesque just playing the long game?
The history between Triple H and CM Punk includes significant tension, particularly following Punk’s infamous “pipe bomb” promo in 2011 where he called Triple H an “idiot” and criticized the McMahon family. Punk departed WWE in 2014 under contentious circumstances before making his return to the company in 2023.
Currently, CM Punk is preparing to square off against Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins in a Triple Threat Match at WrestleMania 41. Despite Richards’ speculation, there have been no reports of any actual discord between Triple H and Punk since his return, with both parties seemingly satisfied with the financial benefits of their renewed working relationship.
