Just one day after WWE announced that WrestleMania 43 will be held in Saudi Arabia, the company is already revealing plans for its future on home soil. Chief Content Officer Triple H has confirmed that a new WWE Performance Center is in the works.
Appearing recently on Nightcap with Shannon Sharpe and Chad “Ochocinco” Johnson, Triple H shared the news about the new facility, which will also be located in Orlando.
“We’re in the process of building a new one now in Orlando. It’ll be even bigger and better,” he stated on the show.
The current Performance Center has been the developmental hub of WWE since it first opened in 2013. The facility became even more crucial during the global pandemic, serving as the primary filming location for Raw, SmackDown, and NXT for a significant period.
The news of a new developmental hub comes after the company’s major global expansion announcement. On Friday, WWE confirmed that WrestleMania 43 will emanate from Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, in 2027, marking the first time the event will be held outside of North America.
