Wrestling veteran Vince Russo is speculating that Solo Sikoa is being actively punished by WWE executive Triple H. On his BroDown show, Russo claimed Sikoa’s recent on-screen booking, including a championship loss, is a direct consequence of an off-screen incident at the wrestling school run by his father, Rikishi.
This theory follows Sikoa’s loss of the United States Championship to Sami Zayn on the August 29 edition of SmackDown and a subsequent absence from the show. Russo laid out two possibilities for the perceived booking issues.
“Now, Mac, there’s either one of two things going on here,” Russo stated. “Either Triple H, despite writing the best television than anybody, either Triple H does not have a clue or there is a punishment going on… I did throw out there, could they have possibly taken the belt of Solo because of what went down at Rikishi’s school?”
Russo doubled down on his claim, suggesting a deliberate disciplinary action is in play.
“Either Triple H does not have an eff—ng clue, or they are punishing Solo and the Samoans with what went down in Rikishi’s school,” he said.
The speculation adds another layer of complexity to Sikoa’s turbulent run. After breaking away from Roman Reigns post-WrestleMania XL to form his own faction, My Family Tree (MFT), his leadership and main-event status have been under constant scrutiny, making his current booking a major point of discussion.
