According to Fightful Select, Triple H expressed significant concern for JD McDonagh following a dangerous spot during his match against War Raiders on Monday Night RAW. The incident occurred when McDonagh executed a moonsault to the outside, impacting the announce table with his head and neck.
Triple H, who was overseeing the show backstage, monitored McDonagh’s condition closely throughout the match, checking on him multiple times even after medical staff had conducted their evaluation. These precautions proved warranted as McDonagh, despite completing the match, collapsed backstage and was later diagnosed with broken ribs and a punctured lung.
Following his hospitalization, McDonagh addressed his condition through social media, maintaining a positive outlook despite the injury forcing him to miss the upcoming Royal Rumble and sidelining him for several weeks.
First off, thanks to everyone for the messages and the concern. I'm good.

I've got a couple of broken ribs and a punctured lung, so I'm going to be out for a couple months. All things considered, it could have been a lot worse, so I'm grateful for that.
See ya in a bit. 🤘🏻
