Ethan Page’s night went from bad to bizarre on the September 9 edition of WWE NXT, ending with the unannounced return of Tyler Breeze.
The moment came just after Page lost a flag match to Tavion Heights. Following his victory, Heights added insult to injury by draping the Canadian flag over his defeated opponent. As Page was still down in the ring, Breeze’s music hit, signaling his return to the brand.
“Prince Pretty” walked directly to the ring, but not for a physical confrontation. Instead, he simply took out his phone, snapped a selfie next to the fallen Page, and then promptly left without saying a single word.
The silent but pointed gesture has placed Breeze back on the active NXT roster and appears to have kicked off a new program with a humiliated Ethan Page.
