Despite being in New Jersey ahead of this weekend’s two-night SummerSlam event, WWE Hall of Famer Brie Bella is not scheduled for an official appearance. Her presence in the area has fueled significant speculation about a potential return, but she has directly addressed and denied the rumors.
On her “Nikki & Brie Show” podcast, Bella confirmed that while she will be in the New York/New Jersey area during the event, her trip is for business and promotional activities unrelated to WWE. Her schedule includes fan meet-ups and events for her wine brand and other collaborations.
Brie Bella has also been open about a significant hurdle preventing a potential WWE comeback: her husband Bryan Danielson’s contract with AEW. She described the situation as a “roadblock” that complicates any in-ring return for her with WWE at this time, citing respect for her family’s unique position across two major promotions.
While Brie’s sister, Nikki Bella, has hinted that a future Bella Twins reunion could happen, she has reinforced that it will not occur at SummerSlam. Brie Bella’s last official match was in the 2022 Royal Rumble, where she competed for over 19 minutes.
