The status of WWE Superstar Piper Niven has raised concern following her extended absence from television. While her partner Chelsea Green has continued solo, Niven has been missing since late August, fueling speculation about her condition. A new report has now provided an important update on her injury, offering a different perspective from earlier information.
The situation escalated when Bryan Alvarez of Wrestling Observer Live reported serious internal concern. He stated: “What I can tell you is that there is concern it could be career-ending — so whatever it is, it’s serious. Hopefully she can come back, but she is out due to injury.”
A more recent report from Fightful Select presented a more optimistic outlook while confirming the gravity of the issue. This follows a pattern of conflicting narratives, similar to the recent case where Alvarez disputed WWE’s claims about a Tiffany Stratton injury.
Fightful clarified that Niven is dealing with a neck problem but that the internal mood remains hopeful. The statement reads: “We’ve got a bit of an update on Piper Niven’s injury. We’re told that while the injury is serious, those we spoke to believe she will return. It’s a neck injury, and she’s still awaiting an official diagnosis. We will respect the privacy of the performer beyond that.”
Niven’s last appearance was on the August 22 edition of SmackDown, where she scored a victory over Charlotte Flair. The current on-screen explanation for her absence is that she is away “on a secret mission” with Chelsea Green.
