Update On WWE NXT Top Star’s Main Roster Call-Up

Amid a dominant 2025 run that has solidified her as a cornerstone of NXT, speculation about Sol Ruca’s main roster future continues to grow. The conversation intensified after Triple H singled her out at Wrestlepalooza, naming her alongside Oba Femi and Trick Williams as top prospects. Now, Ruca has directly addressed her potential call-up and current mindset.

On a recent appearance on Going Ringside, the reigning NXT Women’s North American and WWE Speed Women’s Champion made her stance clear. Asked about a move to Raw or SmackDown, she expressed full confidence in WWE’s process. “I completely trust them and their timing. I’m not trying to rush my career by any means.” (h/t Wrestletalk)

While acknowledging her peers’ ambitions, Ruca emphasized her satisfaction in NXT, where her North American title reign has surpassed 110 days. “Obviously all of us wanna get to the main roster as quick as possible, but I’m completely content being in NXT, I’m completely content doing my stuff with Zaria, we’re having so much fun right now.” Her current success follows a standout ladder match win at Stand & Deliver 2025 to capture the championship.

Known for her innovative Sol Snatcher finisher, Ruca has been central to storylines involving factions like The Culling and Fatal Influence. She closed by underscoring her focus on growth over promotion. “I definitely have so much more to learn, and I think when the time is right, that’ll be it.”
