Updates on WWE’s Plans for Shotzi in NXT Revealed

Shotzi Blackheart’s return to NXT was intended to be a short-term arrangement according to recent comments from a wrestling journalist.

Sean Ross Sapp addressed the situation during a recent episode of Fightful’s The Hump when asked about the unexpected absence of Chemical X from NXT television.

Sapp revealed that Shotzi’s December 10 NXT appearance followed her recovery from an ACL injury suffered in February 2024, but was never planned as a permanent move.

Actually, when Shotzi was brought back, it was originally thought that she was just getting some reps before returning to the main roster. So, I was a little bit surprised that the group was even brought up anyway. But no, I haven’t heard any details on that.

The Chemical X faction, consisting of Shotzi, Gigi Dolin, and Tatu Paxley, has been absent from NXT programming for over a month.

Shotzi last appeared on the January 28 edition of NXT, where she was unsuccessful in her challenge for Fallon Henley’s NXT Women’s North American Championship.

Gigi Dolin and Tatum Paxley have also been missing from NXT television since the February 4 broadcast.

The status and future of all three performers remains uncertain at this time.
