Veteran predicts former WWE Champion could face Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 41

WWE analyst raises possibility of unexpected challenger emerging from recent Bloodline storyline developments.

Drew McIntyre may be positioned as Roman Reigns’ opponent at WrestleMania 41, according to WWE analyst Sam Roberts. The Scottish Warrior’s recent interactions with The Bloodline have sparked speculation about potential matchups for The Show of Shows.

During his Notsam Wrestling podcast, Roberts examined McIntyre’s growing involvement in The Bloodline narrative. The former WWE Champion has intensified his focus on the faction, notably confronting Solo Sikoa on SmackDown and challenging him to target Roman Reigns.

Roberts addressed the various possibilities for Reigns’ WrestleMania opponent, including The Rock, CM Punk, Jacob Fatu, and Solo Sikoa. However, he emphasized that McIntyre’s current trajectory could lead to a main event clash:

Or at this point does the Drew thing get so hot that Drew McIntyre vs. Roman Reigns is the Roman Reigns match at WrestleMania? All of those things that I just stated could happen.

Jim Cornette analyzes Solo Sikoa vs. Roman Reigns Netflix match

The upcoming Netflix premiere of RAW will feature a singles match between Roman Reigns and Solo Sikoa. The encounter follows their previous clash at WarGames, where Reigns, The Usos, Sami Zayn, and CM Punk defeated Sikoa’s faction.

Wrestling veteran Jim Cornette shared his analysis of the match’s potential outcome on the Jim Cornette Experience podcast. He discussed the creative challenges facing both competitors:

We got Roman Reigns and Paul Heyman going not only now for an Emmy but also potentially an award in cinematography… They’ve been fooling us for about three years now, so maybe Roman gets beat on this one, but maybe he gets beat in such a way… It would be hard to figure out a way to keep Solo scary if he just got beat at Survivor Series and now he gets beat on this widely watched special, because then, if you do the heat afterward, you’re just doing the same thing.
