The women’s Royal Rumble match opened the 2025 Royal Rumble with IYO SKY and Liv Morgan as the first two entrants. Roxanne Perez entered the match at number three, marking her third Royal Rumble appearance.
WWE Women’s Intercontinental Champion Lyra Valkyria entered fourth, but immediately encountered an equipment issue when the straps around her neck became undone. Morgan, noticing the situation, delivered a strike to allow Valkyria time to adjust her gear in the corner.
