What did Will Ospreay say about Randy Orton in 2017? Throwback to his big admission amid arguments over the WWE and AEW stars

Randy Orton and Will Ospreay are two of the most popular wrestlers in their respective promotions. But lately, fans have been comparing them on social media.

The wrestling fans have split into two groups on X (fka Twitter). Some claim that The Viper is better than The Aerial Assassin and others believe Ospreay undoubtedly surpasses Orton.

However, there is no actual beef between the two stars. In fact, in 2017 Ospreay even admitted that he likes Randy Orton.

“As much as I enjoy banter. I actually do like Randy Orton,” he wrote in the old post.

Check out Ospreay’s post below:

Randy Orton made his WWE debut in 2002. He has been a staple of the company since then. Meanwhile, Will Ospreay set foot into the wrestling world a decade later. Both stars are incredible wrestlers, but Orton has more experience than Ospreay.

Jim Ross was concerned for Will Ospreay during his match at AEW Full Gear

Will Ospreay took on Kyle Fletcher at Full Gear on November 23. The match involved a risky spot where the latter executed a Jumping Piledriver into the steel steps on Ospreay.

Speaking on his Grilling JR podcast, Jim Ross stated that he was scared for Ospreay after the deadly spot on the steps. He was genuinely concerned for the star’s well-being.

“But I thought that scared the sh*t out of me, boy. It really did. That spot scared the hell out of me. I thought there’s no way both these dudes are going to walk away from this, okay, but they did. I guess that’s the thing about youth!”

Fletcher turned on his former stablemate Ospreay at WrestleDream last month where he cost him his International Championship. Due to the distraction caused by him, The Aerail Assassin lost his title to Konosuke Takeshita in a Three-Way Match that also featured Ricochet.
