What’s Holding Alexa Bliss Back from Returning to WWE Revealed

According to the March 20, 2025 edition of Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Alexa Bliss will remain absent from WWE programming until the Wyatt Sicks faction returns to SmackDown.

Dave Meltzer reports that WWE has directly linked Bliss’s television return to the supernatural group’s reappearance. The report connects her eventual comeback to the faction’s storyline development.

The Wyatt Sicks have disappeared from WWE television since late December. PWInsider has confirmed Bo Dallas is the injured faction member responsible for the group’s extended absence.

Their rivalry with Final Testament ended abruptly, with plans for a SmackDown debut completely halted during the injury period.

Speculation about Bliss joining the faction gained momentum when technical glitches occurred during her match with Candice LeRae, suggesting a supernatural connection between them.

Sean Ross Sapp had previously reported that Bliss was prepared for a tag team storyline that WWE quietly abandoned.

Bliss addressed the situation cryptically on social media, posting an image of Ross from Friends saying: “I’m fine, ok? I’m great!”

The former champion’s last appearance came at Elimination Chamber, with her scheduled WrestleMania Week bookings recently removed without explanation.
