Update on Worlds Collide Following WWE Error

LA Park, the original La Parka from WCW, has confirmed he will not be appearing at the upcoming WWE x AAA Worlds Collide event in Las Vegas. He made the announcement on social media to address confusion after WWE used a graphic featuring his likeness to promote the show.

“You already know how they always put me up there to confuse people, but it’s not me, well, the one in the image is me, but I’m not going to go,” Park stated.

The confusion stems from WWE’s promotional materials using the well-known image of the original Parka. However, the wrestler scheduled for the event is a newer version of the character, portrayed by Brazo de Oro Jr., who was introduced by AAA in March 2025.

This third version of La Parka is set to compete in an Eight-Man Lucha Showcase. He will team with Mascarita Sagrada, Niño Hamburguesa, and Octagón Jr. to face the Latino World Order’s Cruz Del Toro and Joaquin Wilde, Lince Dorado, and Mini Abismo Negro.

The match is part of the full six-match card finalized for WWE x AAA Worlds Collide, which was announced during the September 5 edition of WWE SmackDown. The event is scheduled to stream for free on WWE’s YouTube channel on Friday, September 12, from the Cox Pavilion in Las Vegas.

Worlds Collide will be headlined by El Hijo del Vikingo defending the AAA Mega Championship against Dominik Mysterio. This is a rematch from Triplemanía XXXIII, where interference from AJ Styles cost Mysterio a victory.

The card also features two other AAA title bouts: The New Day will challenge Psycho Clown and Pagano for the AAA World Tag Team Championship, while Dragon Lee, JD McDonagh, and Ethan Page will compete in a four-way match for the AAA Latin American Championship held by El Hijo de Dr. Wagner Jr.
