2K has released a series of teaser hints on social media leading up to WWE 2K25’s first major reveal scheduled for next week. The promotional campaign includes multiple feature previews for the upcoming game iteration.
The initial teaser featured Rhea Ripley and Dominik Mysterio, suggesting the return of intergender matches to the franchise. This feature has been absent from WWE games since SmackDown vs. RAW 2009. A subsequent preview showed Jey Uso discussing a potential Bloodline-focused Showcase mode, with Liv Morgan interrupting the announcement.
Two additional teasers pointed toward the introduction of “The Island,” potentially referencing The Bloodline’s “Island of Relevancy.” This feature appears similar to NBA 2K’s “The City” mode, which offers players an online open-world environment for interaction with other users.
WWE RAW will host the first official reveal of WWE 2K25 on Monday. A Steam leak previously indicated Roman Reigns as the game’s cover athlete, with a comprehensive feature presentation planned for January 28.
