WWE has announced a significant international expansion, scheduling a three-event takeover in Perth, Western Australia, for this coming October. The weekend will be headlined by the historic relocation of a major premium live event and will feature John Cena’s final in-ring appearance in the country.
The Australian-exclusive series will unfold at Perth’s RAC Arena, which will host three of the company’s flagship broadcasts. The packed schedule includes Friday Night SmackDown on October 10, the Crown Jewel premium live event on Saturday, October 11, and Monday Night RAW on October 13. These will be the only WWE events broadcast from Australia, New Zealand, or Southeast Asia in 2025 and will air globally on Netflix.
A central attraction for the weekend is the inclusion of John Cena, who is making his final stop in Australia as part of his global 2025 Farewell Tour. The 16-time world champion is expected to be a main feature of the events, following an initial tour announcement made during WrestleMania 41 weekend.
For the first time in its history, the Crown Jewel premium live event will be held outside of Saudi Arabia. The show will continue the “Champion vs. Champion” concept established at the previous year’s event, which saw Cody Rhodes and Liv Morgan crowned as the inaugural champions.
This major event series is part of an expanded partnership between TKO Group Holdings and the Western Australian Government. The collaboration follows the success of Elimination Chamber: Perth in February 2024, an event that reportedly injected nearly $50 million into the local economy and attracted a large number of out-of-state visitors.
Fans looking to attend the weekend of events can register for exclusive presale opportunities. On Location will offer VIP Experience packages that include premium seating and meet-and-greets with WWE talent. A WWE Superstore is also expected to be established in Perth’s Central Business District for the duration of the events.
