Jade Cargill, Naomi, and Bianca Belair have separated following SmackDown after Naomi was revealed as the person who attacked Cargill and sidelined her for four months.

In 2024, Carmelo Hayes offered to join Jade Cargill and her group to make them the “Big 4,” but they declined his proposal. This topic resurfaced recently, with Hayes agreeing that the group would still be together if he had joined them.

Hayes acknowledged this point in response to a social media post suggesting his inclusion might have prevented the group’s dissolution.

The original issue between the women stemmed from Naomi’s feelings that Cargill was “sucking the life out of Belair” and using Belair’s popularity for her own benefit.

When Hayes initially approached the women’s group, Cargill dismissed him because he had already lost two matches to Andrade, who was his rival at that time.

Hayes has since found success on SmackDown as part of a team with The Miz called “Melo Don’t Miz.”

Randy Orton is preparing for his return to in-ring action on Friday Night SmackDown, with a match scheduled in Barcelona next week. Meanwhile, Carmelo Hayes took the opportunity to remind Orton of their previous encounter.

During the latest episode of SmackDown, Orton addressed his return and discussed various topics, including John Cena. Later in the broadcast, Orton encountered Hayes backstage, who made references to their history. This interaction led to Nick Aldis booking a match between the two competitors for next week’s show in Barcelona.

Following this segment, Hayes posted on social media about their upcoming match, sharing an image from their previous encounter. The photo showed Hayes pinning Orton during a Triple Threat match on SmackDown from June 2024, which also included Tama Tonga.

The victory Hayes referenced occurred when he secured a pinfall over Orton in the Triple Threat match through a roll-up maneuver. Both competitors will now face each other in a singles match on the upcoming edition of SmackDown in Barcelona.

WWE Games and 2K Sports started promoting WWE 2K25, expected to release in March. The official X account of WWE Games asked various superstars about their cover star preferences for the upcoming game.

Carmelo Hayes selected The Bloodline’s Tonga Loa, who has been inactive since sustaining an injury at Survivor Series: WarGames in November.

Other suggestions came from multiple WWE superstars. Pretty Deadly and A-Town Down Under nominated each other, while Chelsea Green and Tiffany Stratton suggested themselves. Mia Yim proposed Kevin Owens and Bayley for the cover.

WWE 2K25 First Look Revealed During RAW on Netflix

WWE provided a first look at WWE 2K25 during the RAW on Netflix debut on January 6. Roman Reigns and Paul Heyman appeared in the teaser segment.
