WWE UK announced Randy Orton will appear on SmackDown shows in Barcelona, Bologna, and London this March following his surprise return at Elimination Chamber.

Randy Orton is set to make multiple appearances on WWE SmackDown’s European tour this March. WWE UK confirmed on March 6 that The Viper will be present at shows in Barcelona, Bologna, and London.

The announcement comes shortly after Orton’s surprise return at Elimination Chamber in Toronto. WWE made the news official through their social media channels.

Orton’s appearances will take place on March 14 in Barcelona, March 21 in Bologna, and March 28 in London. These shows form part of WWE’s Road to WrestleMania European tour.

Roman Reigns is also advertised for the Bologna and London events. This creates the possibility of interaction between the two top WWE stars during the overseas shows.

Orton made his return to WWE programming at Elimination Chamber, arriving during the aftermath of Kevin Owens’ unsanctioned match with Sami Zayn.

The Viper’s return generated a massive reaction from the Toronto crowd. His appearance came at a crucial moment as Owens was continuing his attack on Zayn after their brutal contest.

Orton immediately targeted Owens, removing his vest and delivering an RKO to his adversary. He then attempted to deliver his signature punt kick before security intervened.

Several security personnel also received RKOs during the chaotic segment. The entire sequence established Orton’s intentions to pursue Owens following his return.
