WWE Behind Gail Kim's TNA Firing?
Veteran reporter Bill Apter claims Gail Kim’s firing from TNA Wrestling may be connected to the ongoing WWE-TNA working relationship.

Gail Kim’s sudden departure from TNA Wrestling might be directly tied to the company’s growing relationship with WWE. The former Knockouts Champion was recently let go alongside several backstage personnel.
Veteran wrestling journalist Bill Apter addressed the situation during a Sportskeeda WrestleBinge Q&A session.
I had heard today that it was something to do with the partnership between TNA and WWE. There’s just something politically that may have happened in there,
Apter suggested organizational changes are happening behind the scenes.
Allegedly (it has do with) restructuring a lot of things now that the thing with WWE is (they) seem to be moving forward, even more so.
Fightful’s Sean Ross Sapp has confirmed these were terminations rather than mutual partings. Kim had been serving as a producer for the Knockouts division after her in-ring career.
The report noted Kim’s history as the inaugural TNA Knockouts Champion with multiple title reigns. She also had two WWE runs, holding the Women’s Championship during her first stint from 2002-2004.
The WWE-TNA relationship continues reshaping both companies’ landscapes – but at what cost to long-time TNA loyalists who helped build the promotion’s reputation for excellent women’s wrestling?
