WWE continued its “Road to Clash in Paris” tour on Thursday with a live event at the Utilita Arena in Cardiff, Wales. The show featured several championship matches, including Tiffany Stratton defending the WWE Women’s Championship, and a main event that saw CM Punk and Sami Zayn team up against The Judgment Day. Three of the company’s women’s championships were on the line throughout the night. In a triple threat match, WWE Women’s Champion Tiffany Stratton successfully retained her title by pinning Nia Jax. The bout also included Jade Cargill. Giulia also had a successful defense of her WWE Women’s US Championship against Zelina Vega, with Kiana James in her corner. The opening contest saw Charlotte Flair & Alexa Bliss retain their WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships over the team of Roxanne Perez & Raquel Rodriguez.
In other championship action, The Wyatt Sicks, represented by Joe Gacy and Dexter Lumis, defeated Rey Fenix & LA Knight to retain the WWE Tag Team Championships. Gacy secured the pinfall on Fenix while Uncle Howdy, Erick Rowan, and Nikki Cross looked on from ringside.
A notable moment in the evening saw Joe Hendry answer an open challenge from The Miz. Hendry ultimately scored a victory over the former WWE Champion.
The ongoing faction warfare continued in two separate multi-man matches. The Usos teamed with Jacob Fatu to defeat MFT’s Solo Sikoa, JC Mateo, and Tonga Loa. In the night’s main event, CM Punk, Sami Zayn, & PENTA were victorious over The Judgment Day’s Finn Bálor, JD McDonagh, and Dominik Mysterio, with Punk pinning Mysterio to win the match.
The card also featured a brutal Street Fight between The War Raiders and The New Day. After The War Raiders won an initial, standard match in under a minute, The New Day immediately challenged them to the no-disqualification bout, which The War Raiders also won.
